Right now, my planner isn’t saving me… this is

The 15-Minute Reset That Saves My Entire Day

Hey Reader,

Lately, my life has been full in every direction. Sometimes, I don't know if I am going to be able to complete all the tasks I need to get done each day. I have decided to fill up my plate with more responsibilities and my schedule is feeling the fullness.

Work. Family. Sports. Appointments. Goals. Trying to build something meaningful while still handling everyday responsibilities.

Would you believe that I haven’t been using my planner the way I normally would? My poor hobonichi weeks has been waiting patiently for me to return to it.

For a while, I felt guilty about that because I’m someone who genuinely loves planning. I love organized pages, intentional routines, time blocking, everything about it.

But this season has required something different.

Instead of trying to maintain an organized system, I’ve been surviving off one simple thing: a brain dump notebook.

That notebook has become my holding place for:

  • random tasks
  • reminders
  • ideas
  • things I cannot forget
  • content ideas
  • follow-ups
  • everything floating around in my brain

It has been working out wonderfully.

Sometimes the most productive thing isn’t the prettiest system.
It’s the system you can actually keep using during a busy season.

Right now, I need relief with an easy way for my thoughts to be seen, tracked, and organized.

I need somewhere for my thoughts to land so my brain can stop trying to carry all of them at once.

So lately, my “15-minute reset” has looked less like all out planning and more like:

  • opening my notebook
  • writing down every loose thought
  • crossing off tiny tasks for momentum
  • giving myself permission to let the rest wait

That small reset helps me feel in control again.

I think sometimes we assume productivity has to look polished to count.
But some seasons are simply about staying grounded and moving forward one task at a time.

If you’re in a busy season too, this is your reminder:
you do not need the perfect system to make things work.

You just need a place to begin again tomorrow.

Be well, be focused, be you.

Hey Reader, Did you ever say that when you were younger or have you. heard your kids say it recently, "From the bottom of my heart"? Well, that is how I feel. When I set out to write this book, I wasn’t sure anyone would pick it up. I only knew that the weight of mom guilt is real, that so many of us carry it silently, and that it deserved to be spoken out loud. The fact that you chose to read it means more to me than I can put into words. You didn’t just buy a book. You made the courageous...

Today is the day! Hey Reader, End Mom Guilt in Midlife is officially live on Amazon right now. I can not even pretend this moment isn’t a big deal for me. It is huge. Writing this book meant sitting with some hard truths I’ve ever put into words about the years I spent invisible to myself, about the guilt I carried that restricted me from moving forward, and about the shift I finally decided to make once I realized I was worth something too. If any part of that is your story, this book is for...
